Music Festival in Singapore

Universal Studios in Resorts World Sentosa definitely helped Singapore’s tourism. However, another thing that gets people traveling would definitely be their music festival. Aside from their own musicians, they bring in artists from countries such as Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines and more.

Perhaps their biggest and most-attended festival, especially for the youth, is the Baybeats Festival held at the Esplanade. It started in 2002 and has been a growing production ever since. They have different stages set up and the audience can go to wherever they think they will enjoy the most. They’ve had over 70,000 audience members in a year and that number will keep on growing. Their artists range from pop punk to metal to emo and grunge. It’s gaining more and more recognition in Asia and will soon reach the rest of the world.
