I’ve always been a rebel when I was still in high school – often without a cause. I’d always do the exact opposite of what others and my family pressured me into doing, even if it killed me. Sort of cutting my nose just to spite my face. This has become such a habit that I do it unconsciously, so when well-meaning friends advise me on the right thing to do, I always end up doing the wrong thing.
